Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents gave birth to her in the Philippines, on February 9, 1997. Her grandmother lived in the areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old when she was adopted. The adoptive parents of her are both native Filipinos. Her white American adoptive dad has military experience. The woman claims she and her brother who was adopted when infants, were subject to abuse until they were drafted. To move to Texas, when she turned 13her family stayed for many months staying in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. The physical attack was less severe, however she still dealt with her father's mental abuse at home. After turning 18 she joined an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch began her TikTok account in April of 202020. She quickly rose to fame, amassing more than 40,000,000 followers within just eight months. Poarch posted numerous videos. Her biggest success was a music video for Millie B's famous song Soph Aspin Send. This zoomed video, which included her lip-syncing as well as jumping into the tune in synchronized time with it went viral. When she joined TikTok, she created a YouTube account as well as an Twitter one in order to boost her popularity. Her fame grew to a peak in December of 2020. Two of the biggest Esports professional teams were reported to be interested in her. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves have expressed interest to hire her as a content creator under their respective brands.
