Amy Smart

Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. She was born and raised in California, USA, she began her modeling career in Italy. Her debut as an actor came in 1996 when she starred in "Her Costly Affair," which was a TV film. After a tough transition, she landed a small character in the film Starship Troopers.' It was difficult when she had to change between modeling and acting, as the models were not seen as good actors and were mostly granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy did not give up and ultimately, she was offered bigger parts. This began by appearing in the TV show "The 70's" and then the movie "Varsity Blues". In 2005, she was cast on the lead role in the romantic comedy film 'Just Friends'. Ryan Reynolds also appeared. Amy was finally recognized as a professional for her accomplishments throughout the past decade. She continued to work in major movies, including the "Crank" film, which featured Jason Statham.
