McKayla Rose Maroney, also called 'Mack Air Maroney' is a famous American gymnast who took home an Olympic gold medal for the US Olympics gymnastics team and an individual silver medal in the vault event during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Her parents were active in athletics, and this led her to begin the sport of gymnastics as a child. She is a specialist in vaulting. She is the only gymnast to succeed in defending her gold medal. She first earned at the 2011 World Championship, and then defended it in 2013 Championship. In 2012, she was disappointed when she was awarded silver in the vaulting at the Olympics. She wanted for a second chance to claim the gold medal in Rio 2016. However, due to injury and other health issues she decided to end her career in gymnastics before when the Olympic Games commenced. In addition to gymnastics she's appeared in some TV shows, and is looking to be a performer. McKayla is expected to have a successful future.
