Anita Barone

Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular on the cast in the show Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's former wife in her first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her role after Barone quit the show to focus on full-time work. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the beginning of its run (1995-1996) as well as in The War at Home between 2005 to the year 2007. Barone has also been a guest on Daddio, a sitcom that ran from 2000 to. Barone also has credits from television, including Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone's work on the film One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. In 2010 three years following the time that The War at Home ended its run Barone started her role as a recurring character on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband guest starred on 2 episodes on Shake It Up in the part in the role of J.J. Jones.
